For Vket2024 Summer, we will be strengthening our pre-launch checks for submission entries, with a focus on sensitive expressions such as sexual expressions, as well as rapid flickering, motion sickness-causing expressions, and others.

In previous rounds of Vket, we conducted submission checks based on case examples from existing domestic doujinshi conventions, the demands of society, and platform guidelines, while affirming the importance of upholding freedom of expression to the fullest.

However, in recent rounds, there have been some incidents of worlds being temporarily withdrawn from public listing due to the expressions of certain exhibits. The temporary loss of opportunities to enjoy works by other exhibitors is highly regrettable. To prevent such incidents, we will perform more stringent pre-launch checks for sensitive expressions as well as rapid flickering, motion sickness-causing expressions, and others.

Vket is a showcase for numerous works by creators with a wide variety of backgrounds and ideas, and the resultant chaotic enjoyment is one of the event's primary attractions.
On the other hand, the event also assumes the responsibility of a public venue of expression, drawing visitors from a wide range of ages, regions, values, and other backgrounds. We will continue to strive to provide a safer environment for all visitors to enjoy, while putting the most emphasis on the exhibitors' freedom of expression.
